Exact replica of the sensational factory Lightweight racing E Types based 1962
We are currently building an exact replica of the sensational factory Lightweight racing E Types using a new alloy moncoque body based on a 1962 E Type chassis number 885860.This exciting car is being constructed using nothing but the best F.I.A correct components regardless of cost, and therefore will be eligible for all international historic racing.
The speciation includes close ratio straight cut gear box, light weight fly wheel, triple plate sintered clutch, competition limited slip diff with oil cooling system, uprated suspension arms and drive shaft solid mounting steering rack, MK IX spec disc brakes, magnesium Dunlop peg-drive alloy wheels and hubs fuel cel etc.
The engine will be built to the buyers specification and budget up to a full alloy block, dry sump, wide angle cylinder head and Lucas Tecalamit fuel injection if desired.
We would offer race preparation and track support should the buyer wish to race this car in North American Vintage Racing events.
